Firmware Engineer

Required:
• Strong experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems
• Proficiency in C programming and Python scripting
• Experience developing low-level firmware, including writing drivers for hardware peripherals such as USB, MIDI, Audio CODECs, ADCs, DACs, and LCDs
• Familiarity with compilers and debugging tools for embedded systems
• Ability to troubleshoot firmware and hardware interactions at the register level
• A love for audio systems and technology
• Preferably on-site at our Ventura, CA headquarters, but remote arrangements will be considered
• Strong collaboration skills for working with hardware engineers and product designers

Desired and/or willing to train:
• Knowledge of DSP algorithms and signal processing
• Experience developing audio plugins for PC and Mac (VST, AU, etc.)
• Familiarity with music technology and hardware design for audio devices
• Understanding of audio signal flow and processing techniques
• Passion for creating innovative products for musicians and audio professionals

Electronic Technician

Required:
• Electronic Technician to Electrical Engineering knowledge
• Electronic Technician degree/certificate or equivalent experience
• Component level soldering, de-soldering, replacement
• Tracing signals through a circuit with an oscilloscope and signal generator, following the schematic
• Naturally detail oriented
• Dis-assembling and re-assembling
• Able to lift 65 lbs
• Must be on-site in our Ventura, CA headquarters
• Stellar team player

Desired and/or willing to train:
• General knowledge of Quickbooks desired but not required
• Procurement experience highly desirable
• Fine pitch surface mount soldering experience desired
• Ability to read a schematic and troubleshoot by measuring power rails, signal flow, etc.
• Ability to read a Bill of Materials and understand component specifications
• Suggest substitute components when specified components are not available
• Monitor and detect issues, and implement corrective actions on a manufacturing assembly line
• Research and procure components for upcoming manufacturing builds
